Separation anxiety can be a very complex issue. In extreme cases the dog will harm himself or your property. It will require dedicated lessons. This problem is best rectified with a certified trainer such as myself.
It is impossible to predict the amount of time and lessons it will take to fix separation anxiety. Each dog and family’s situation is unique. In less extreme cases it can be worked into basic obedience training. In more extreme cases it will require dedicated lessons alongside obedience training. Time, patience and dedication is the key. We work with the dog’s psychological side to make him comfortable being alone. This can take weeks or even months building a gradual and solid foundation.
